Am thinking of staying at the new Fairmont Beijing - how walkable is it from the Fairmont to the Kerry?

I know taxis aren't too expensive there but I like to walk. I've never been there before.

I've looked at it on google maps but just wondering time wise and street-wise (cross walks) how walkable it is.

Thanks!
The walk is probably about 20 minutes, but you would need to cross Chang'an Jie (via tunnel, bridge, or crosswalk). Personally, I'd try to stay on somewhere on the north side of Chang'an Jie (e.g. St. Regis or the Kerry Hotel itself).
