Generally I limit my flying, particularly MRs, from mid June through Labor Day. Thunderstorms, which are often quick forming and unpredicatable, can reek havoc with travel. Add to that all of the Ma and Pa Kettles and even all of the F seats and airline club memberships do not make it worthwhile.
Saturday night, we sat at the gate at MIA for two hours waiting for a storm to pass. Thank God I was in F downing bloody marys.
