We used the new lounge on sunday night, on the way out to Hong Kong on NZ38, met with some resistance at the door, in the form of a pleasant but firm would you rather not use the *A lounge as we will not call your flight, and its a very long walk to the gate, I replied with an equally firm but friendly, no thanks we really would like to try this star gold lounge.

After that we were welcomed in, Sandwiches were the normal *A lounge ones, but some very warming and creamy mushroom soup. A basic but fresh salad selection and VERY nice credit Crunch ice cream in the freezer.

After a pleasant hour in there we toddled of to the *A lounge before boarding for HK.

Off out now to restock the camera cupboard !
