Buying UA metal seats via LH (or anyone else) entails one major problem. I can't UG using any instrument until abt 24 hrs out when my record will reflect a UA flt # vs the LH code share. The only other hiccup I've seen is where I was moved out of my exit row seating I had requested thru UA. When I asked why, the record showed that LH contacted UA and assigned different seats for me. When I asked how? I was told since I ticketed thru LH, they controlled the record. UA had no problem restoring the seats. Thankfully....
