I'm always walking around the whole hotel, it seems, from the BTS to the banks on Charoen Krung, to Robinson's for this or that, to the vendors up the road, then down Soi Shangri-La to the Peninsula Pier. Besides a quick look-see once, the most I've ever done at the hotel is catch a cab.

Are any of the restaurants at the Shangri-La particularly good or otherwise noteworthy? I'm always willing to give a new place a try-- unless it's at the MO. (Long story.) Or the State Dome Tower. (Short story: overpriced.)
I have eaten at Angelini several times and always enjoyed it.

Yes, there are a number of good Italian restaurants in Bangkok but this certainly ranks as one of the better ones.
