We just got back from a stay at this hotel (2/8/02-2/14/02) Used a reward for the stay (GLOLP) and was upgraded to the executive floor, where we ran into Sweet Willie and got the scoop on FT.

The hotel rates second in our list of nicest properties (the Conrad in HK is #1)

The staff was very friendly, the room was spacious, the bathrooms well appointed and the room came equipped with an in room safe. The Exec Lounge onteh 6th floor has numerous food and snack opportunities during the day and offers free cocktails from 7-10 each evening.

We ate out all nights but one...Ate at the Portofino (in the hotel)one evening...Nothing special but not too pricey.

Other than the diving, renting mopeds and the Straw Market, one reccomendation would be to try the "Fish Fry" Its within walking distance of the hotel...Ask the doormen for directions.

HIGHLY ADVISABLE LOCATION!
