When I fly J with my husband, I often get " And for your Brother"(when doing meal selection) It's no big deal and it doesn't bother me. I simply say " Oh, he's my husband.

" and that's that. No reason to make a big deal. They weren't implying anything negative, just saying what they observed. Not sure what the big deal is.
Usually later on during the flight the FA will ask us questions, or talk about the whole gay thing within AC. I'm very comfortable and personable. Perhaps more easy going than others?
