Typically no downside (you get E+, same mileage credit, EQMs, lifetime miles, e500 credits, as long as it's UA metal), although in the case of Irrops, LH is technically responsible for taking care of you. Not sure what would really happen in this case, as it's never happened to me, but in most cases, I would assume UA would handle the situation and not pass the ball to LH.
