Regarding the internet, it appears that Marriott UK did a deal with iBhan (my opinion, in that most seem to use iBahn). I was talking to a GM about it saying how it costs so much so no one uses it. He commented that it makes the hotel hardly any money, so I guess most if it goes to iBahn.

TV screens is purely up to each property. If the owners decide to refurbish the rooms then they will probably have flat TV screens. I would imagine that soon it may be a requirement to have that to be part of the Marriott chain though.

With Hilton though - I know they have some of the freeview channels, but certainly the ones I've stayed at don't have the sports satellite channels in the rooms. Once again though I think that the TV packages are per hotel rather than across the board.


Free internet for plats though - would be nice. I do seem to remember Marriott Conceierge asking how they could improve the rewards programme and that was the most popular answer.
