Keep an eye on the USAirways forum here and on usaviation.com. They literally took delivery of their first of many A330-200's this week. The 2nd is due to arrive soon, and those are the two that will operate the PHL-TLV route. More 332's will arrive this and next year to provide more intl. route expansion.

The internal news among employees has always been that this aircraft will utilize a Panasonic AVOD system, and there will be lie flat seats in Envoy. But then there was a rumor that the vendor of those seats could not get them delivered in time for the start of the new TLV service (early July), so the initial deliveries will get the existing A330-300 Envoy seating. This is rumor, so nobody knows for sure other than the delivery flight went directly from France to Mobile, AL yesterday where this kind of work is often done....

So, the short of it is - US may be a good option for you once we actually know how the aircraft is configured, and after we have gotten some trip reports next month....
