To believe increasing diamonds doesn't diminish the potential returns is to not understand that trying to put the 13th egg in the carton doesn't equal trouble. Sure, my bonus points remains the same, but using them as I desire (upgraded rooms,etc) becomes less possible. Logic dictates that the new lounge at the Cavalieri was created because of the increase of demand from elites.
I recently checked into a Hilton that I always got upgraded before, but was told that they have been getting sao many diamonds recently that they can only upgrade so many.
Comparing this to lower taxes, welll...it sounds like an argument an HH exec would make.
I'm a customer,yes. But, a very good one. And this customer earned his stripes, and frankly earned a right to not like what's happening. I also think Mike has earned the right to wonder why the OP is complaining, Let him earn that right as well. Just MHO.
