CX AVOD is quite good on their new product in Y, including 74A (the equipment you have SFO-HKG). It's the same system they have in J and F class. Screen resolution is excellent and the screen is quite large for Y, and it has an exhaustive amount of movies and TV shows. Even if you're uncomfortable for the long flight, my guess is in Y you can at least stay pretty entertained.
