Interesting reading.

I think First Class will still be a feature of the 'best' airlines for many years to come, given that there is a market on many routes for it (particularly to the US and Middle East). It stands to reason that not all longhaul aircraft in an airline's fleet will have an F cabin, due to differing markets.

There is a wide gap between the billionaire with his/her own Airbus or Boeing BBJ capable of relatively long distances and the millionaire with his/her own private jets capable of much shorter distances.

Also, there are still some highly profitable companies out there with many executives/high up employees who are able to continue flying F.
