When I took advantage of that BestWestern offer in 2007, it took several months for the Aeroplan miles to be credited to my account despite numerous email exchanges.

BestWestern wouldn't award bonus points because Aeroplan was in charge of the program, whereas Aeroplan wouldn't award points because BestWestern is the partner.

I've since stopped using BestWestern.
