I got the email about a year ago and immediately trashed it. I have yet to actually see a Clear station anywhere. I've simply either not flown to those airports or I've been focused on finding the UA elite security and haven't looked for it.

Is Clear at ORD? That's the one airport I use where even the UA elite security is kind of a zoo. Non-UA hubs are generally fine. Even Denver has always been fine for me. I just don't see the big time savings for Clear vs. a normal elite security line.

If I had no elite status and flew to a Clear airport often, maybe I'd feel differently. But if I flew that often, I'd probably only find it worth $40-50 because by definition if I used it often, I'd soon hit some sort of low-elite status on whatever airline I was using.
