Much cheaper inside 21 days to book hotel & WTP than WTP flight only on ba.com
I'm not sure If this hasn't been spotted already, but the new flight plus hotel facility on ba.com throws up a massive fare anomaly with WTP fares. I've commented before that I think BA's WTP prices inside 21 days defy gravity.
I just did a dummy booking for Hong Kong next week & WTP flight only is £2240.
WTP plus the cheapest hotel for 7 nights is only £912!!! Indeed flight & 7 nights in The Peninsular is about the same price as flight only.
Hope this doesn't lead to withdrawl of these fares - because frankly they only bring the prices back to reality. & anyway they are only matching what you can get from Virgin Holidays.
But to my main interest. Does anybody know if these WTP fares are upgradeable with miles?
