My experience is that a missed segment will result in automated itinerary cancellation at the end of the day. My further experience of FlyerTalk is that people just regurgetate the rule book with the zeal of a shareholder - never from personal experience. My first sentence is from experience. Do it on a one-way or on the final segment of the trip only.
