BA's actual policy on no-shows

Embarking on a mad back-to-back BA business class trip shortly that, within 6 days, will include 4 transfers at LHR and LGW (transatlantic and european flights). My problem is that on one of my legs I may opt to not fly, but rather take the eurostar instead in order to spend a few hours with a "long lost friend".

When asking BA what their policy is on no-shows, i was told that the rest of my itinerary would automatically be cancelled (and I would not be able to fly the rest of my reouting).

Is that really the case? Or is it up to the individual BA staff at check in? I have a non-changeable/refundable business class ticket.

Anyone who can shed some light on this? Apologies if this has already been raised in this forum. I did a search, but wasn't able to find anything.
