I agree with your comment re Manchester. The last time I stayed there the desk clerk told me that he 'knew nothing about Diamond cards' and I could speak to the manager tomorrow. I checked out for an early flight at 5am so never had the chance to see him. I did forward the desk clerks comment to Adam who apologised on their behalf.
