I agree with MIKESILV much more than the OP, if they didn't have 28 stays in 2008 and won't have 28 stays in 2009, I don't see the big deal in Hilton not giving them Diamond status for 2010, but that's just me. I know it's a pain they keep changing the qualification system, but the line on Diamond needs to be drawn somewhere and that just doesn't seem unreasonable or "retarded" (as the OP put it) to me.
