I visited the new lounge this morning prior to boardng for CAI. It's true that it's very pleasant and certainly the entrance and intial impression is very good but once inside the reality was that it was pretty full at 8am and I could only get a stool by the window. I can't imagine what it'll be like when the T2 guys arrive! The staff were very welcoming and really doing their best to get things off to a good start, they genuinely seemed very proud of the new facility.

CAI was departing ex Gate 56 so about as far away as it could get!

One issue I had this morning was the agent in premium check-in initialy refused to accept my GUV from Y to PE on the basis that it was a 3-class aircraft! It took a couple of 'phone calls and checking with colleagues to allow it.

Service on the A330 in PE was superb. They may be looking a little tired but the old business class seats are great value for money as a PE product. I certainly wouldn't pay business on the CAI route or indeed even burn a GUV up from PE to Business (OK, I might on the way back!!)
