I had a chat in the domestic today. It seems the refurb will occur sometime in June / July - 'but don't expect anything like the International lounge'. So it looks like the Travelodge style will remain but with Business and Diamond lumped together on the ground floor. And there was I salivating with anticipation of a casserole from the Aga before boarding a LHR-MAN flight!

Seriously though, it is a shame that the domestic lounge does not appear to be as important to BMI as the International - surely the volume of domestic traffic they carry should justify a lounge of comparable quality?
