I got a call from someone at Hilton who says the reason I did not get credit was that the promotion did not apply to people who were already Hilton members. I found a printout I had of the original e-mail that states that you could enroll via phone (like I did) if you were already a member. I also called and spoke to 4 CSRs my friends also called. We were told the promo ran until December 2001.
Now I am really ticked as I think about the torture (only a mild exaggeration) I withstood driving morning and evening in rush hour traffic in Orlando. I refuse to have suffered for nothing
