I used to hold season tickets to the SF Opera and received an invitation to buy great seats for this Cycle. I very seriously considered it; in fact, I came within a hair's breadth of actually taking the plunge. But then reality kicked in. I would very much look forward to 25 hours in the SF Opera House but not to the 31 hours on a 747 that I would have to face in order to get there!
