MC_ite, your data point certainly sounds like an outlier to me. I won't comment other than to say that the call buttons are there for a reason. You shouldn't feel at all badly about using them, particularly in J. Actually, I always prefer to use them. FAs walking the cabin doesn't do any good if, like me, you want what you want when you want it, not when they happen to be strolling by. That's why I use the call buttons.
