I am currently Platinum with Starwood and was thinking of switching to the Hilton program, so I thought I'd ask the experts. How are diamonds treated by the company? Do you get the impression that hotel staffs and the company go out of their way to make their best customers feel valued (outside of the stated perks)? And if anyone has Starwood or Marriott platinum, how would you compare them to Hilton? Double dipping sounds nice, but I don't want to spend a year building up points if diamond customers do not feel valued.
