Smarter to take out right from the get go in pesos than take out USA in transit in the USA and get royally screwed on exchange rate doing that, and screwed
again changing that to pesos!

It is a pure basic Amex card, that needs to be paid in full each month so no logos on back except for Amex IIRC?
Citibank machines in BA will take the AMEX card.. The LOGO for AMEX is on the Machines. I think Gaucho is not Familiar with the AMEX system. All AMEX cards do not show Cirrus, Star etc. The Machines that accept the AMEX card show the AMEX card as the Logo..
