The Hate Mail has finally woken up to this one.

Reading the article, here has taught me a couple of things I never knew.

Apparently flaps make an aircraft rise and when they don't work because the plane is in "landing mode", you gain height by dumping fuel.

What a fantastic newspaper.

Perhaps we should start a thread along the lines of "If BA crew were as professional as Hate Mail journalists, then..."
