I did - I was hoping to exchange my certificate with that of a wonderful FTer but genuinely couldn't find a way to hook up in time, our itinerary (and family obligations) got much more frantic than I'd expected .
Some checks were made behind the scenes but it was accepted without comment.

Hopefully the IC Tokyo will consider it as 'Summer time' for your next stay. On our first night the A/C was working - something we took for granted although we only spent minutes in the room on that Friday. The next evening we had more time there - the A/C had been turned off due to a 'Spring time' energy conservation policy. It was horribly stifling, we had no thermometer but it was in the way upper 20s-C). We spent most of the time in the A/Cd lounge in order to get some relief, which was nice, but not the romantic evening we'd hoped for.

A lot of checks were made during our stay in the lounge. Not only was the white club card requested but your name and room number too. Everybody was being asked. Not sure if this was because it was the weekend.
