Alex - No my Amex card is linked to my bank account.

So if I withdraw say $US500 or 200 Euro or £200 from any foreign ATM that takes Amex (heaps do) it simply ends up as an AUD withdrawal to my cheque account in SYD.

Saves a ton of fees and a lot of hassle. ^
