My guess is that Holideck remains the lounge for CRC/WC/SC members not flying J or having ST E+ status, plus they take all the non ST partners, AMEX, etc. They also advertise day passes for the Holideck, so I'm guessing it still has a role to play as the "mid tier" lounge.
