I think it's high time the Indian Government issues a formal travel advisory to its citizens not to transit through CDG if their final destination is not a Schengen country, until such a time as the French Authorities can provide formal assurances that "emergency" visas will be issued in a timely manner in the event of irrops incidents -- something which most other Schengen countries operating under the self-same visa regulations don't seem to have too much trouble doing most of the time.
