JMB did not allow me to rebook. I had to cancel first and then book again.
Let's face it. JAL is history.
According to ANA's FAQ, their miles expire after 36 months, which is the same as JAL. Korean Air's miles did not expire before but they have changed the rules last year and miles expire after 5 years. Let's be fair, I don't think mile expiration is history or unique to JAL.

Were you trying to reroute your award? I reschedule my award flights all the time and never had any problem.
