Cancel award flight and lose "expired mileage"
JAL is not my favorite airline and the JMB program is far from being at par with *A programs.
I booked an award biz class seat but my joining flight was canceled so I canceled my award biz class seat -- when I tried to rebook next day with new schedule, JMB said, "sorry --expired mileage end of last month and we can't refund that"
It was 30% of the award total -- buyer beware.
I will use the remainder of my JMB points and dump -- program was great years ago but does not match what *A or SkyTeam have.
