Yep, worked out to just under A$42 door-to-door, so that was definitely the right choice! No rental car at this point - may grab one for a day if we end up needing it.

Pancakes on the Rocks was a hit, walked around The Rocks area afterwards, walked halfway across the bridge - all fortified by yummy pancakes!

Zoo was great - apparently it's not legal in NSW to actually touch Koalas but we were <20cm away from them! Zoo pass was perfect - purchased at Circular Quary dock #2 for A$134 covered round-trip ferry trip, zoo for 2 adults + 2 kids, bus transfer from ferry dock up to main entrance and a trip on the gondola. All for a few $ *less* than family zoo entrance plus ferry trip... Of note is that the Taronga Koala Experience is A$20 for *up to 4 people* so our whole family got in for that - includes 1 picture taken and printed by the zoo people, but they'll take some w/your camera and let you take as many as you like. Friday was pretty easy/non-busy day - few hordes of school kids in groups, but no lines for anything - even Koalas.

Coles supermarket was a great call! We've been a few times already

We'll be looking for a camera shop apparently as we forgot the little point-and-shoot Toting the "big" camera everywhere is a pain, so I'll probably try and get one of those Olympus or Pentax waterproof digital P&S today or tomorrow. Sigh.
