I know it was a little naughty but even managed to sneak a peak in the First Lounge in JFK, even though we only flew CW, though we didnt take any of the drink or food as we thought that wouldnt be the right thing to do...thought the CW lounge was nicer anyway.
How did you manage that?
When I flew out of JFK last the printer in the Terraces lounge wasn't working, so I mentioned it to the lounge 'dragon' (who was very helpful and pleasant) and allowed me into the First lounge to do the printing. Initially, all three/four of the computers were occupied, so I went back to the Terraces for a bit (which I like better as it is brighter and larger) and popped back in to the First lounge a little later, which was no hassle at all for the 'dragon'.
I did spend a very comfortable half an hour doing my printing...
(I too didn't relieve the First lounge of any food or beverages, but I think the selection is almost identical). The big difference is between the Terraces/First lounges and the Concorde Room at JFK.
