Fees of around $500-$600 came in only recently. I know I paid the surcharges on an award claimed in October 2008 (but not yet flown). I can't remember for sure whether I paid them on an award claimed in March 2008, but I don't think so. I'm fairly sure I did not pay the surcharges on an award redeemed in February 2008.
