My regular patter is to arrive on an overnight flight - have a glass of champers in the lounge and then want a glass of wine on my way to Scotland.

I have never had the courage to ask for anything other what is offered - but to me it is only about midnight - but I never get a glass of wine for the sake of feeling like an alchy

And I am about to meet the parents so a glass of wine is really deserved I think !
