I was just reading an article dated May 7th, 2009 reagrding AA's fleet of 757.
It talks about 18 of the 124 aircraft that will have the new international configuration of 16 seats in first. Then the article goes on referring to the remaining 106 domestic aircraft. One thing caught my eye was that AA plans on adding 2 more first class seats bringing the total to 24. Does that mean less pitch in first overall (if they pull every seat out and readjust)? Or to one side or the other (they remove a closet)? Just curious if anyone knew what they planned. Will there be new seats in first or will they recycle the seats from the 18 they are upgrading.
