Can't argue with that. Another reason to just use miles as much as you can. I try to use on the longest trips, and those with the best business products.

I have a friend that took alot of convincing to start saving his miles and get a MP visa. He now has a good balance and we are upgrading international trips, but the worse it gets to use miles, the more he is wanting to bail. He just hates the bs. I put up with it ... but how long? Oh well, as long as I have to fly, I have to go on some airline and I do like many direct international flights from UA out of IAD.
