tinkybelle -- Out of curiosity, I tried to reproduce your results. Checked a random date of December 15, didn't put my HH# in and requested the best available rate. Got dozens of rates, with $119 special being the cheapest. Then I added my HH# and repeated my request. Got "The rate is not available" message (in red) and only 4 rates, $189 being the cheapest. So far the same experience as yours...

Now, here is a bit different course of events... I removed my HH# and repeated exactly the same request. Got the same stupid "the rate is not available" message and only 4 rates. Cleaned cache and repeated the same step - no difference... Now, the important detail here is that it was all done in Netscape 4.76.

So, being an experimentalist ( ), I naturally decided to see what happens in Explorer. Voila - no problem whatsoever, with or without my HH# the full set of rates available to book, including the elusive $119 special.

The bottom line: don't take it personal, it's not a conspiracy against Diamond members. It appears to be an annoying computer glitch, apparently limited to Netscape browser.

Hopefully, someone from Hilton will read this thread and get things fixed.

On another note, this property used to be a Ramada, so don't expect much. If you really want to stay in thie Fisherman's Wharf area, Hyatt is much better.
