It could be terminal C or E for either flight. However, there will be plenty of carts for you to snag one (I'd still ask the FA for a cart "due to a tight connection"). If you happen to miss the flight & are around IAH for a while, send me a PM, as I'll be there for a few hours before our NRT flight.

Also, you might look into the same day confirmed change. I think it's $50, but might be worth it if you can get a longer layover.
