I can't compare the two but I've stayed at the RC a few times and IME it's a big event hotel. Was hard at times to get a drink and quiet moment for conversation when the bars are overrun by guys in nametags. I also find most the rooms to be frustratingly lacking in a view. Even rooms with a good view from the window often have the bed on the wrong wall. Service is on par with RC although not the best of them.
