I have had pretty good success this year (about 87%) using the Fine Dining Program for our local McDonalds in order to secure a table as long as I called 24 hours in advance. Unfortunately the same can not be said for my overseas trips where the concierge could only get us into Mcdonalds about 30% of the time.

My gift last time was a free extra sweet and sour, which I was able to switch out for a honey mustard with no problem.

I am not sure if you could get a free Bar-B-Que sauce! Have you tried to use membership rewards points to secure the upgrade in advance? I think it is now 300 points = 1 Bar-B-Cue. Last fall there was a 30% savings deal, so you might want to wait and see if it is offered again this year.
