Have to agree with worldbanker. I like the hotel on the Lake(no spelling problems here The rooms overlooking the lake offer the best view. As of 10/10 they were charging $5.(business was slow) for the shuttle to the Fr. Qtr. The shuttle to the Qtr. takes about 15 mins. and leaves at 1:30PM, 6:30PM, 8:30PM, and sometime between 8:00Am&Noon. You need a reservation for the shuttle. You have to get a taxi back to the hotel(approx. $15+tip) Anyone who stays here should contact the hotel BEFORE arriving at MSY and speak to the bell captain to ensure the shuttle will be at the airport. They claim it's every hour on the half hour. Call BEFORE you get to the airport! I'm Hilton Gold and they upgraded me twice (16th&14th floor) on a Priceline bid! Business was very slow.
