and the poorly trained staff ........the swire hotels need attention ....and quickly
but i do forward to their pacific place hong kong property ,.....hope that would fair better than the opposite house which just tries too much.
its in the san litun area in a place called the Village...its just poorly designed and planned ...........oonly good thing going for it is the uniqlo shop

Agree with you. It reminds me of Ian Schrager's hotels, which also tried too hard to be 'hip' whilst forgetting that comfort and service are paramount.
It seems that Swire are investing huge amounts in PR, which explains why all the glossy travel magazines are jumping up and down so much. We don't really believe that stuff, do we?
