Doubletree has a nicer property on Lake Ponchatrain (splelng?) This is a quiet suburban location with great water views. Rooms are newer, larger and nicer than downtown. Great rates on weekends too if you don't mind the drive to downtown. Hope their Executive Level lounge is still open.
