my best tip probably won't work since you are flying business, but if you fly coach with 2 adult and one kid without bookign the baby a seat, I always book the window and the aisle in a 3-seat row. That way, you almost always end up with the full row because the middle seat in an otherwise full row will be booked last, plus, if it does get booked, unless the plane is completely full, noone is going to volunteer to sit next to the baby in a middle seat so they will alway sit somewhere else leaving the seat empty. And worse case, if the plane is COMPLETELY full, then you can generate goodwill - which you'll probably need during the flight - by offering to take the middle and trade the aisle or window so that you can sit together.
