Tough call. The row 9 seats are better in some ways. It's nice, though, to have a drink or two and a small snack, even on a redeye. While the F seats are not great, I still find I can sleep adequately (for a plane) in them. OK...maybe not as tough a call after all

Not a tough call for me either. As long as they didn't forget to restock the Bailey's I have no problem sleeping in any seat in F. I'd hate to see my tab if I were in row 9.
Oddly, I usually go with 1F just because I prefer no one reclining into me and easier aisle access. From these reviews I might have to try something new next time. 1F is usually quite cramped for my 6'3" frame.
