I recently referred a friend (Father in Law!) to BA Amex for a credit card, with the promise of 2000 milesto both of us on his first spend over £500.

Needless to say a lot more money than that has been spent over the last few months by him, and despite several phonecalls, no miles credited. I called again today only to be told that that appeal (that i made months ago!) would now be 'actioned' and the miles credited 'because I had phoned again'!!!!

I have done several referrals since but don't hold my breath now for the miles. My point is that BA/AMex should be grateful for the bloody referrals in the current times, and it should not take countless calls to customer service to be told that the mile are 'on their way'.

Anyone know an address at BA Amex of someone that can be written to regarding this poor service??
